Photography is not my career, but it has become my creative passion in recent years.
I started getting serious about photography when I inherited my late father's Canon 60D in 2014 and began travelling internationally.
Many years and many gear upgrades later I have been fortunate enough to capture world famous architectural masterpieces, natural landscapes, and wildlife across five continents.
back home, i enjoy photographing the beauty of the DMV region and the endless sights and events it has to offer. Say what you will about what goes on in Washington DC but it's a looker of a town...
i've been fortunate enough to have my work featured in print and online by various publications, organizations, and photo competitions.
i thank my wife for putting up with all this - planning our trips, finding new locations and photo subjects, and seeking out interesting breakfast options after early morning shoots.
I'm a lifelong car fan and active PCA member. here's my new automotive photography project:
I'm also a recovering musician. In my younger days I recorded several albums and performed in the DC area with various acts, playing everywhere from the seediest dive bars to venues such as the 9:30 Club and 10,000+ attendee music festivals, opening for well known national acts and Grammy winners.
